Finally Man Utd Reached Final

How will the squad arranged, it was a question for Alex Farguson. For it he passes a sleepless night and taking a doubtful decision, those 9 players of the squad of first leg is given rest but at last it was a great pleasure to Farguson that his team is successful in this time. Just day before yesterday in Old Trafford Manchester United bring a victory over Schaleke by 4-1.

By winning this match they reached to the final and against Barsa. Now Alex Farguson is floating in happiness." Taking this decision was not so easy, last few nights I could not sleep. Last night I could not sleep, four times I wake up and thought that am I right what I want to do? But now it is successful"-said Farguson. In the record match of except 9 players, first time Schalake was forward.

First attack is come from German team Schalake who is defeated by 2-0 in first leg. But first goal is come from Manchester United. In 26 minute, by the pass of Gibson the goal came by Valencia and Man Utd came forward in that match. By this goal the control of that match came to the Daren, Gibson, Jony who are playing in the replacement of Fardinand, Runi, Gigs. In 32 minute Man Utd got second goal by Gibson.

But after 3 minute a goal is paid by Hose Manuel Huardo. From 72-76 minute, Anderson got two goal in the favour of Man Utd and also closed the door for came back in the game. The second team of Manchester United played and for this reason Alex Farguson is very happy but among this he is bound to explain the reason of the rest of 9 players. In the answer of this question he said that in the day after tomorrow in the premiar league against Chelsea he wants to get fresh Runi-Gigs. But the winning team against Schalake will not play in premiar league. Coatch of Schalake Ralf Rangnik also pleased about the team of Manchester United.

Sewag's Hurricane made Delhi to win

After watching his bowlers who take wickets in no-balls and his fielders who drop sitters, the captain of Delhi Daredevils took his frustration over Deccan Chargers. He made a blistering century, also his first in Twenty20s. Complete lack of support from his team-mates, Sehwag made a flood of boundaries that help them to make a challenging total. The next highest score was James Hopes' 17.

Sehwag has made a career out of sticking in this match. Sehwag shuffled across and glanced a boundary from the middle-stump line to fine leg. The asking-rate crossed eleven at by the end of seven overs. Sehwag broke free in the next over, bowled by IPL debutant Ishan Malhotra. In the first ball of this over he played in deep square leg, in the next ball deep midwicket. Two more boundaries followed, as Sehwag looted 23 off the over. Sehwag plundered 13 off the next over, from Christian.

Sangakkara brought on spin, so often Sehwag's strength as well as weakness. Sehwag displayed his strength first ball, dancing down and launching Amit Mishra over the straight boundary. The weakness was on display next ball, as he rushed out again but ended up slicing to sweeper cover. That is when Deccan decided to return the earlier favours, substitute Ankit Sharma clanging a simple chance. Sehwag gladly guided the third ball through third man for four.

Birt departed in the 11th over, having contributed 4 runs to a partnership of 61 off 28 balls. Sehwag ignored the contribution at the other end, dispatching Mishra for three consecutive fours. The second of those boundaries slipped into the boundary from Ravi Teja's grasp, after he had managed to get both hands to the chance.

When 69 needed off 48, Sangakkara brought Dale Steyn back. Steyn dug one in short; Sehwag got on top of it, and flashed it past backward point. A desperate Sangakkara turned to Bharat Chipli's gentle medium pacers. Sehwag brought up his hundred off the first ball, and then creamed the next two for sixes. Twenty-seven needed off 30.

Victory was looking far away for Delhi when they had permitted Deccan to run on a bouncy pitch. Sangakkara and Shikhar Dhawan had chances grassed, and JP Duminy and Christian would have been dismissed within the space of three balls in the 15th over. Sangakkara's partnership with Duminy was a good affair, with punchy and edged boundaries alternating with swings-and-misses. More luck was to come Deccan's way when Morkel dropped Sangakkara at short fine leg off Ajit Agarkar, and then failed to get near the ball when Dhawan top-edged a pull off the next delivery. Duminy, who had made 77 runs in five previous games, hardly looking like the batsman who had been struggling for runs. He added 71 in 33 deliveries with Christian, as Deccan made 108 in the last ten overs. It counted for little in the end.

KKR turned to top

By winning this match, Kolkata Knight Riders move to top on the points table, although there is another team, Mumbai Indians, and they have a game in hand. Iqbal Abdulla and Yusuf took three big wickets - Adam Gilchrist, Paul Valthaty and David Hussey - for 43 runs in eight overs. Eoin Morgan and Gautam Gambhir, two of the best players of KKR, made sure that the chase was smooth.

After the dismissal of Gilchrist, Shaun Marsh and Abhishek Nayar were run out: Marsh caught and Nayar when trying to take a tight single. At 53 for 4 in the 10th over, Gambhir's captaincy shone through. He was not content with the early wickets. Almost every new batsman walked out to a slip and a silly point. Gambhir himself fielded under the helmet.

A 33-run stabilizing stand between Dinesh Karthik and David Hussey threatened much, but in the 15th over Abdulla came back to end. Three overs after he had survived a shout for a lbw, Hussey was given out to a delivery that could have perhaps slid down the leg side. Karthik nudged and swept his means to 42 off 42, but couldn't afford that final kick. Only 33 came off the last five overs, which intended that the run-rate never crossed six an over after it slipped under the smudge in the seventh over.

It was a chase that could have simply gone wrong on a difficult track. At least it defenseless to when Jacques Kallis got out to the first ball of left-arm spin of Bhargav Bhatt, who begins the bowling. Morgan, however, took out anything keenness the Punjab side might have had. He judged lengths of the ball early, moved feet decisively, and his 15-ball 28 made sure there was no run-rate pressure on the rest.

Gambhir annulled the spinners expertly, viewing his version of quick footwork. Maybe because he is the captain, he was less gaudy than Morgan. He relied on imperative forward, then waiting for the bowler to bowl short for a push into the leg side. If the bowler didn't pitch short, like Piyush Chawla tried, he punished him well over the infield. With support approaching from Manoj Tiwary, the rest was a twilight walk at Eden Gardens.

Runi is Better: Harnandez

Who is the best player this is now out of discussion.  Messi is best in paper as well as in the fan of football. But Mexican striker Havier Harnandez of Manchester United recalls a question of best player, and in this case he point out his co-player of Manchester United, Runi. Harnandez noticed that in two point Runi is forward than Messi and Ronaldo.

In the middle of this season Harnandez included his name in Manchester United. By playing 41 matches, number of goal is 19. And by playing 35 matches the goal of Runi is 14. On the other hand the goal of Messi is 52 from 50 matches and goal of Ronaldo is 42 from 49 matches. By knowing every thing Harnandez gave preference to Runi.

He told "Undoubtedly Runi is one of the best forward in the world. Runi is better than Messi in sooting and better than Ronaldo in heading". By coming Old Traford Harnandez shines his playing. The coach of ManU Alex Farguson told that, it was unbelievable what Harnandez played in first season. Now football is not a play of technique also physical fitness is necessary.

He runs few miles, for building muscle he go to gim. "I played in the best competition in the world. It will be very charming if I could play in wembly final. We defeat Shaleke in the first leg (2-0), Barsa defeat Rial(2-0). Barsa and ManU are favourite for final".

Messi Will Be Best Player In Future: BATISTA

'Who is the best footballer in the history', the answer of this question is like 'Pele' or 'Maradona'. So we want to skip this question and want to search who is the new best footballer in the world. And for this case the coatch of Argentina, want to search in the future by avoiding past. In the first leg of 'L clasico' semi-final of champions’ league, the hero of Barsa who gave two goals and brought a victory over Rial Madrid is chosen for future football king by coatch Sargio Batista. And he announced for the present football boy, 'we know him and love him. He comes forward in the best historic football player'.

Full name, Lionel Andres Messi. Who created record in the boyhood, no not gave a goal, by played in Barsa as a younger player. As a third younger player of Barsa he played in 16th October, 2004. Against Espaniol he didn't make a goal but the record of goal is for Messi. Just after 10 month 7 days he did that. In 1 may 2005, against Albaseto Balempi for the first time he gave a goal, and after then he created him as a younger player for Barsa who gave a goal. And last three years he took himself in top of the player and achieve player of the year. And for achieving this award he made many records.

In a monsoon he touched the highest goal of Ronaldo (47) in last years. But in this year he wants to achieve the highest position of this record, for this reason from first of this tournament he is just like a lion and before ending a monsoon he achieves that record (52).

For club though he achieves those record but in the case of own team Argentina he is just like behind those record and as seems he forgot the play, but in recent time he did two match winning goals. One of this is against Brazil. If the club magic of Messi is played in his country as a magician, then it will be more dangerous for all teams. In 23 years who is getting in this stage so in the end of his career where he reached, it is only can say the time. In this case, it is obvious that, the announcement of Batista will come true.

Semi-final Between Barsa and Rial

Today the condition of Barselona is just like a wounded tiger. Last two times Spanish champion, Barselona will be faced the most revealed Rial Madrid. In the semi-final of UEFA Champions League Football these two Spanish giant will be faced one another. In between 12 days this is the third time to one another- L Clasico noumber 3. In the match of Spanish La Liga they were faced one another. In that match the match was drawn in 1-1. Then in the Copa cup they again faced one another.

That match was the final match of that tournament. In that match Barsa was defeated by Rial by 1-0. And in this case Rial won the cup. Today, again Barsa faces Rial. So today they are wounded tiger and the team of Pep Gardiola wants to attack Rial like a tiger. They want to take places in the final by defeated Rial. On the other hand Rial is so happy that after drawn with Barsa they were able to achieve Kings Cup. Today again they want to defeat Barsa.

In the first leg of semi-final of Champions league they are played together. The venue is Santiago Barnabu stadium. This venue is own ground of Rial, so they will get extra advantages as well as support from the expectorator of this stadium, and will be a extra inspiration of the team of Morinho. Just few days ago, though Barsa drawn with Rial and defeated by Rial in the Copa cup but in recent times against Rial, Barsa played well and they were successful against Rial.

In this moonsoon, in the first match between Barsa and Rial, in the ground of Rial, they were defeated by Barsa by 5-0. Tonight that will be a inspiration of the team of Gardiola. Little pass and quick football is the tactics of Barsa. Last two years they did that and they got success. Rial also defeated by them for the reason of that tactises. But Rial coatch Morinho got another tactise to break down the tactics of Barsa. Against Barsa Morinho played his boyes a defending football.

In recent world football, to acquire the top place, the battle is held between Lionel Messi and Crischiano Ronaldo. In the monsoon of Spain football, they are the best footballer to give best goal. In the drawn match of La Liga Messi and Ronaldo got one goal each but that goal was from penalty. But in the kings’ cup, the goal from head of Ronaldo brought a fantastic victory over Barsa. Today Messi and Ronaldo both are waiting for showing their great support to the team. Today Carlose Puyoul will be play in the Barsa side after the injury. In the club football of Europe, in this big tournament Barsa-Rial faced 6 times, Rial won 3 times, Barsa 1 time and another two times the match was drawn.

Shalke Vs ManU today

There is a great difference between Manchester United and Shalke in the case of achievement and strength. In the match of first leg of first semi-final of Champions league they are played face to face. In the side of Manchester United, they have a opportunity to reach final for third time in last four years, as well as opportunity for reaching top of all teams in Europe for the fourth times. On the other hand, Shalke comes from Germany they are first time to reach zero four knock-out round. But two teams hope to achieve the dream by won the match, and in the case of achieving that match two teams have equal encourages that the final of champion’s league would be held in Wembly in England. In 1968 for the first time Manchester United achieve crown of the best of Europe in Wembly.

Since then ManU achieve also two times for best of Europe but not in Wembly, they expect the final would be in the Wembly.  And in the case of Raul Gonjales  Shalke take expectation. In the career of 17 years, he achieves many achievements, 6 La Liga and 3 champions’ league cup as well as 16 cup. But he didn't play in Wembly. In this champion’s league, in the away match the team of Farguson didn't take any goal in their net. If Shalke want to go first, then they have to goal in the net of Manchester United, and for this reason Raul Gonjales have to give leadership in front of the match. Coach of Shalke Ralf Rangnik gave a speech to defeat ManU. In the final of 1999, Manchester United achieves a victory over Braian Munikh but Braian Munikh take another victory over Manchester United in the quarter-final of 2010. Any German clubs have ability to take challenge in the field, and able to give a great challenge against Manchester United.
In 1997, in the two leg of semi-final Manchester United is defeated by Burusia Dortmund by 1-0. In 2002 in the two leg of semi-final they did draw with Bare Leverkusen and comes away from tournament for the judgment of away goal. This statistics of German club obviously an inspiration of Shalke, but Raul are afraid about Manchester United. Raul Gonjales is afraid for ManU icon Rayan Gigs and Paul Scholes.  Gigs is 37 and Paul is 36 years old but age is nothing and they are able to anchor Manchester United in the top of the top. Most goals in champion’s league have Raul Gonjales but about these two persons he told "I am a great supporter of Gigs and Pauls". What is to be held today? Who win the game, Gigs & pauls or Raul Gonjales?

Barselona and ManU in semi-final

In stamford breez, Manchester United achieved a record victory. Also chelsi made confidence to do like manchester United in Old Traford. In a excitement match The brujs are defeated in their home ground. In the Quarter final of champion league and in the match of second leg, the gang of john terry are defeated by Manchester United in 2-1 as well as they go away fromtournament.

In the match of first leg Chelsi are defeated by 1-0, which is in Aggregate method is 3-1.  The best team of Spain Manchester United confirmed their opportunities to play semi-final in the victory of that day. In first leg they get victory in 5-1 and in the second leg they get victory in 1-0. So in two leg they get victory in 6-1.

In semi-final the opposition of Barselona would be Rial Madrid or Totenhum, on the other hand the opposition of Manchester United would be Inter Milan or Shalke zero four. If Barsa and ManU get victory in semi-final then get back the history of 2009.Where Barselona won the final by 2-1.

In stamford breeze Runi gave the only goal to achieve vitory of Manchester United. In homeground Old traford Man U has one sided aggressivity. But in the beginning the attack of Chelsi was high and besides that Man U came back in game in the time of 25 min.

In 43 min Man U got lead by the goal of Harnandez. In the Chelsi's side Drogba gave a goal in 77 min and bring level in that match, but it was for a while. In that time South Korian striker Park gave the victorious goal and Manchester United got a vitory.

Garguson told " I think we played well, also Chelsi played well but that night is ours". On the other side Coach of Chelsi told "first 25 min we played well, but then rythm is cut"

In the ground of Shakhtar Barselona was pressureless. In small passes alwayes Barselona have the control of that match. In the end of that match Gardiola told "last three years I was a fan of Shakhtar, recently they improve well".

Kolkata Knight Riders won by 9 wickets (with 9 balls remaining)

Kolkata Knight Riders won by nine wickets and with nine deliveries to spare. It shouldn't have been that easy but Gautam Gambhir and Jacques Kallis starred in a supremely well-paced chase as Kolkata successfully hunted down a potentially tough 160-run target on a sluggish track in Jaipur.

In sixth over Gambhir took 18 runs in Amit Sing's over, where two shots were risky shot. This was first turning point in this game. The second turning point was Gambhir's contest with Shane Warne, who introduced himself in the seventh over. Gambhir cut his third delivery through the covers, and slog swept the first ball of the 10th over to collect another four.

Gambhir found great support in Kallis, who was instrumental in starting the chase in a positive fashion. He lifted Ashok Menaria's left-arm spin for a four and a six over long-off in the third over, whipped Shane Watson to midwicket and slashed Nayan Doshi through backward point. He dropped anchor once Gambhir took over the baton.

In the 12th over, Yusuf Pathan had a double strike - Dravid didn't connect with a slog and Menaria swatted a return catch, and the stage was set for the two big hitters. Rajasthan seized momentum by looting 14 runs in the 16th over with Taylor spanking a long hop and a full toss from L Balaji for sixes.

There was a mini-contest too on show: Shakib Al Hasan, Bangladesh's captain, who saw Watson wreck their side only few days back was entrusted with the task of bowling at him.  Watson beat Shakib Al Hasan for a straight six in the 14th over and slog-swept him over wide midwicket for another six in the 17th over. Shakib slowed up the pace on the next delivery and Watson was bowled as he missed another attempted slog sweep. Rajasthan were 125 for 4 at that stage, and Taylor stayed till the end to guide them to a good total. In this game man of the match is Goutam Gambhir for his outstanding performance.

Kochi Tuskers Kerala won by 8 wickets

Two of the world's finest Twenty20 batsmen, Brendon McCullum and Mahela Jayawardene, constructed chalk-and-cheese half-centuries to power Kochi's pursuit of 183. Both perished to Lasith Malinga's deadly deliveries but Kochi, who had stumbled in the final stretch of their first two games, didn't slip up this time as Ravindra Jadeja and Brad Hodge muscled boundaries to finish the game with an over to spare.

Tendulkar's effort checked off another item on his ever-shrinking to-do list, and Mumbai ran up a tall total without needing contributions from Rohit Sharma, Andrew Symonds and Kieron Pollard. It was then assumed that the bowlers would make the rest of the game a formality, but McCullum firmly put that assumption to rest by muscling three boundaries between mid-off and cover in Malinga's second over. The next big jump came in the sixth over from Pollard as McCullum swatted a four past midwicket and Jayawardene eased boundaries behind square on either side of the wicket.

The Mumbai fielding made things worse for the home team. Rohit Sharma dropped McCullum at first slip off the first ball, and Jayawardene was given a life by Ali Murtuza at backward point.

With 27 needed off three overs, and nine wickets in hand, Mumbai gambled by bringing on Malinga for his final over. He delivered by bowling McCullum first ball, but Hodge eased Kochi's anxieties with two walloped boundaries off the rest of the over. Jadeja, who has received plenty of criticism over the past two years, then justified his promotion with a couple of swiped sixes off Murtaza Ali to finish off Mumbai with an over to go.

Watson Is The no. 1 in All Rounder Ranking

Shakib Al Hasan's place as the No 1 ODI all-rounder has been usurped by Australian Shane Watson. The Bangladesh captain, who first climbed into that position in the ICC rankings more than two years ago (April 23, 2009), has been going through a lean patch over the past three months. At the same time, Watson has built on good form from the Australian summer as well as a decent World Cup and a red-hot Bangladesh series to become the top all-rounder in limited overs cricket.

Watson made 294 runs, including a brutal, unbeaten 185 in the second game, smashing 15 sixes, a record, and as many fours, and picked up three wickets. It is his career-best ranking to date. Shakib now trails him by 44 points while Watson also rose nine places to reach No.4 in the rankings for ODI batsmen. Interestingly, Shakib got Watson out in the left-arm spinner's IPL debut yesterday.

Paul Val-thaty smashed Chennai Super Kings

Paul Val-thaty smashed an unbeaten 120 off 63 balls as Kings XI Punjab shocked defending champions Chennai Super Kings by six wickets in the Indian Premier League on Wednesday. Valthaty, made 19 fours and two sixes in a dramatic counter-attack to help Punjab overhaul an imposing 189-run target with five balls to spare for their first win in two matches.

A surprise promotion to the opening slot, Valthaty single-handedly fashioned the highest successful run-chase in the ongoing Twenty20 tournament. Dinesh Karthik brought off the winning runs with a six, much to the delight of Adam Gilchrist's team, reeling under a heavy defeat to Pune in their opening match.

Opener Murali Vijay earlier struck a fine 74 off 43 balls to help Chennai overcome the loss of two wickets off the first two balls of the innings. Vijay also shared a 122-run partnership for the third wicket with Subramaniam Badrinath who remained not out on 66 with eight fours.

Punjab won the toss and elected to field. Fast bowler Praveen Kumar gave Punjab the perfect start when he had in-form opening batsman Anirudha Srikkanth trapped leg before and Suresh Raina caught at midwicket the next ball. But Vijay and Badrinath brought the innings back on the track with a mix of aggression and caution and set the stage for a late assualt by skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Dhoni smashed four fours and two sixes to score 43 runs off 20 balls.

 Score in Short is
Chennai Super Kings: 188-4 in 20 overs (Vijay 74, Badrinath 66, Dhoni 43; Kumar 2-37)
Kings XI Punjab: 193-4 in 19.1 overs (Valthaty 120 not out)
Result: Kings XI Punjab won by six wickets.
Man-of-the-match: Paul Valthaty.

Sachin Achieve Wisden Leading Cricketers Awards

In case of age many cricketers loose their form and for this reason they miss cricket but Batting legend Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar successfully chased this. And in the recent two years he is unbeaten. Last two years in test and one day he shows unbelievable performance. As a result recently achieve world cup. After achieving world cup he float over awards. But in achieving great award he is little behind because of complexity of law. That award is "Bharat Ratna" khetab. But there is no rule to give this khetab to a sportsman. They try to add it. But Wisden, known as bible of cricket brings a good news for Sachin. Batting genius Sachin Tendulkar achieve Wisden leading cricketers awards for 2011. Some days ago wisden official chose four cricketers for this awards for current year.Every year five cricketers achieve this award. But this year four cricketers got this. For the performance of 2010 Sachin got this award in 2011. In this time besides 1500 test run he got seven test century as well as fiftieth century. And in one day he got unbeaten 200* against South Africa. For this performance batting legend got this award.

Record of SIX

Fifteen sixes in an innings is easily a new ODI record; the previous best was Xavier Marshall's 12 against Canada during an unbeaten knock of 157. Marshall needed 118 balls for his 12 sixes; Watson's 15 came off only 96, which means he averaged nearly one six per over.

Apart from 15 sixes, Watson struck as many fours, which means 150 of his 185 runs came in boundaries. That's a record too, bettering Herschelle Gibbs 126 runs in boundaries during the course of his 175 in that record-breaking match against Australia in Johannesburg. Watson's score surpassed Matthew Hayden's unbeaten 181 to become the highest in ODIs by an Australian. It's also the highest by any batsman in a run-chase, edging ahead of MS Dhoni's unbeaten 183 against Sri Lanka in 2005.

In fact, of the top 21 ODI scores by Australian batsmen, only three have come when batting second, and all of them belong to Watson - he also scored an unbeaten 161 out of a team total of 297 against England less than three months ago, and 136 not out against the same opposition in the semi-finals of the Champions Trophy in 2009. The highest in a run-chase by an Australian other than Shane Watson is 133 not out by Mark Waugh. Watson's century came off 69 balls, which the third-fastest by an Australian, after Matthew Hayden's 66-ball effort against South Africa, and Adam Gilchrist's hundred off 67 against Sri Lanka.

Watson finished with a strike rate of 192.70, which is the highest for an ODI innings of at least 70 deliveries. A total of 6791 innings make the 70-ball cut, but only five of them have strike-rates of more than 160. His average of 3.2 balls per four or six is also the best among these innings - Virender Sehwag is next for his 70-ball 100 against New Zealand in Colombo, when he averaged 3.5 deliveries per boundary. Of Watson's 185 runs, only 38 were scored on the off side, while 148 came on the leg side. All 15 of his sixes were scored in the arc between square leg and long-on, while only six of his 15 fours were struck through the off side.

To conquer international cricket, Shane Watson first had to beat his fragile body. He changed his training, preferring pilates to weights, gave up alcohol, but not his dream. It finally paid off in 2009, when he was chosen as a Test opener in the middle of the Ashes series. Many batsmen would have been uncomfortable with the promotion from the middle order, especially after failing when given the job with Queensland, but Watson has been used to re-inventing himself. In his first eight Tests in the new role he scored seven fifties and a 120. With a history of setbacks, it was not a surprise that his first Test century became such a drama, but after two scores in the 90s and an 89, he finally brought it up at the MCG - thanks to a single from a dropped catch. He has earned some luck.

At the crease he is an aggressive brute with a broad chest, a right-handed disciple of Matthew Hayden, and someone who often doesn't need to follow-through to gain a boundary. However, his drives and pulls are delivered in a much smoother style than his former Queensland team-mate, though that won't be much consolation to Bangladesh's bowlers, who were bludgeoned to the tune of a record-breaking 15 sixes in an ODI in April 2011.

As a bowler he is willing and speedy, but not quite as good as he thinks he is, and is prone to post-delivery exchanges. He picks up handy wickets and delivers useful overs in all forms, although he is a run-getter first and not someone who would usually be picked on bowling alone. After years of doubt he has developed into a very modern, complete and enviable package.

Watson beat Bangladesh by 9 wicket

Shane Watson beat Bangladesh's bowlers and achieve a world record tally of sixes as the Australians with a nine-wicket victory in the second limited overs match in Mirpur to seal the series. The target of 230 had appeared a possible target on a slow pitch offering some turn, but Watson made such light work of it, that his unbeaten185 from 96 balls now stands as the highest ODI score by an Australian, overtaking Matthew Hayden's 181 against New Zealand in 2007. Once Bangladesh were 88 for 5. But Rahim, allrounder Mahmudullah and left-arm spinner Suhrawadi Shuvo pushed the hosts to 229 for 7.

Shahriar Nafees had done his best to keep the first half of the innings from petering out entirely but he was not helped by the funereal approach of opener Imrul Kayes, who lingered 41 balls to gouge out five runs. Mitchell Johnson and Steve Smith shared five well-deserved wickets, while Brett Lee was short of luck during a spell that was damaged after he leaked 17 runs in his final over.

As if to stamp his intent on proceedings, Watson coshed 14 from the first over of the reply and made 27 before his partner, Brad Haddin, had even faced a ball. Together they added 62 before Haddin, having contributed eight, mistimed a catch to midwicket for his second low score of the series.

Shakib Al Hasan won the toss, Tamim Iqbal offered a flashy drive at Johnson in the second over and sliced to the left of the solitary slip where Shane Watson held an excellent catch. In the next over Lee and the rest of the Australians were convinced they had Imrul gloving a well-directed short ball behind, but a vociferous and sustained appeal went unheeded, decision reviews not being used during the series. Australia's disgust at not claiming the wicket would be alleviated across the next eight overs, as Imrul crawled to five from 41 balls, draining the innings of all momentum and then compounded his sin by swinging unwisely at Johnson to sky a leg-side catch.

The home side's only change was to withdraw Mashrafe Mortaza from the firing line, replaced by Rubel Hossain, after Mortaza was significantly down on his usual pace in the series opener. Given Watson's subsequent pyrotechnics, he may have been relieved to sit this one out.

Finally India Won The Cup

Twenty-eight years on from this match that transformed the history of world cricket, India recaptured the crown that Kapil Dev and his boys first lifted at Lord's in 1983, and this time they did so in their very own back yard. A fantastic innings of 97 runs from Goutam Gambhir was very helpful for achieving their goals. And at the same time, Mahindra Shing Dhoni played a match winning innings since Ricky Ponting played in Johanesburg eight years ago. A poetic century from Mahela Jayawardene to pull off Srilanka in 274 for 6 and the target was 275. this was the highest successful run chase ever in the world cup final.

India won the final by 6 wicket with 10 balls in hand. Dhoni promoted himself to no. 5 for taking extra responsibilities onto his own shoulder. The cool man did his job of a fantastic innings of 91 runs, and also not out. In this innings he stroke 8 boundary and 2 over-boundary.

When target were nearer, with 15 required from 17 balls, he flicked Srilanka's only true threat Lasith Malinga through midwicket for consecutive boundaries and also finished his innings and Indian innings by hitting over long-on for fantastic over-boundary when India needed 4 runs from 11 balls. India Reach Tournament Final

India beat Pakistan by 29 runs. Excellent performance of Indian players make them a victory over Pakistan. Here bad performance of Pakistani players are also noticeable, because man of the match Shachin Ramesh Tendulkar got life for 4 times, and with the help of these opportunities he made a handsome score of 85 runs and made India to go to final. Tendulkar dropped for four times in his man of the match innings to anchor India to 260-9 against their arch-rivals before his team's bowlers applied the pressure and the brakes to secure a 29-run win in the hotly-anticipated clash. First time Misbah missed then Kamran missed his catch then Younis Khan missed and at last Umor Akmal missed his catch but Shahid Afridi dont mistake to take a brilliant catch to dismissed Tendulkar's innings. Tendulkar again missed out on making 100 international centuries but has the satisfaction of having played in all five of India's World Cup wins over Pakistan. Now he hopes to be at the forefront of Saturday's campaign where India will look to capture a second World Cup title. In the very beginning of the day Indian captain Dhoni won the toss and decided to bat first. Two openers Virendar Sehwag starts fantastically but after falling of Sehwag's wicket ,run was slow and at the last it made 260. Pakistani pacer wahab riaz made his best figure yesterday, he picked up 5 wicket and also handsome wicket Sehwag, Kohli, Yuvraj, Dhoni. But bad performance keeps Pakistan away from final, and it is unbelievable. Pakistan floundered more than what they could afford, while India marched ahead to set up a clash with Sri Lanka in the World Cup final in Mumbai.

Windies coach blasts seniors for World Cup exit

West Indies coach Ottis Gibson lashed out at his senior players for their inconsistency and warned them their international futures were in danger after the former champions crashed out of the World Cup. Gibson pulled no punches after the West Indies were shot out for 112 during Pakistan's 10-wicket romp in Wednesday's quarter-final, saying the seniors needed to buck up or face the axe.
"We are very very disappointed with our performance," the coach said. "It's a fact that our senior players have not performed. When the going got tough we did not stand up to it. "It comes down to individuals taking responsibility and having belief in themselves. Ultimately it comes down to performance, that's what matters in sport.
"Our batsmen, our best batsmen, have not performed consistently well enough for us to move forward." Star opener Chris Gayle managed just 170 runs in the tournament, Shivnarine Chanderpaul made 114, Ramnaresh Sarwan just 115 and big-hitter Kieron Pollard scored 180.
Gibson urged the seniors to learn from world batting record holder Sachin Tendulkar, who turns 38 next month but retains the same hunger to score runs as he did in the past.
"A lot of people need to look at somebody like Tendulkar who is a sort of senior statesman in the Indian team but he seems to be the hungriest guy of the lot," said Gibson.
"Therefore he gets runs almost every time he goes out to bat. India still rely on him. We need to rely on our senior players the way India rely on him." Gibson warned hard decisions may be taken ahead of a home Test and one-day series against Pakistan starting next month. "We have some time to reflect between now and then.

South Africa respects New Zealand but wants to win

South African skipper Graeme Smith on Thursday said they respect New Zealand as they have some good guys in the team and want to play their best to win the quarterfinal that begins today at the Sher-e-Bangla national stadium in Mirpur.
"It is knockout stage…. it means loss is exit from the tournament, you have to play best cricket to win each match, no previous statistics will be effective in this stage," Smith told at a pre-quarterfinal press conference at the Sher-e-Bangla this (Thursday) afternoon. Team selection is always difficult and everyone wants to select their best team… seven or eight players have to play good cricket to win World Cup, he said when asked about their best eleven.
Asked to comment about spin wicket in sub-continent, he said they have some spinners who can bowl well not only in South Africa but also in the subcontinent. They have also extra bowlers and batsmen, who are good and expected to come out successfully against New Zealand. Team selection would be finalized tonight.
Asked to comment about New Zealand, the left-hander Smith said New Zealand have some good medium fast bowlers including their skipper Daniel Vettori as well and all would want to contribute for their team.
Asked about wicket in Bangladesh that favours to spinners, Smith said the wicket is not much different as they played against Bangladesh. A batsman has to set on the wicket before playing shot but initially a batsman has to struggle to make run on this pitch. If a good partnership can be made on this wicket, a big total can be scored. Asked about Kiwis bowling coach Allan Donald, the former South African fast bowler, he said Donald was a very good bowler and he promoted New Zealand bowling by joining as coach but there is some talented cricketers having variation in our side and hoped no problem would arise.

Ponting sets India 261 to win second quarter-final.

Ricky Ponting answered his army of critics on Thursday with a fine century to help champions Australia post a competitive total of 260-6 in their World Cup quarter-final against India.
The 36-year-old Ponting, who will likely see his nine-year reign as one-day skipper end should his defending champions lose in Ahmedabad, made a composed 104 off 118 balls after he won the toss and elected to bat.
Opener Brad Haddin hit 53 while the recalled David Hussey pitched in with an unbeaten 38 off 26 balls.
Ponting's hundred, which featured a six and seven fours, was his first in 39 international innings since he made 106 against the West Indies in a one-dayer in Brisbane last year.
The captain, who'd managed just 102 runs at 20.4 in five previous innings this tournament, had come into the match amidst reports he could be quitting international cricket completely after the World Cup. Spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuvraj Singh took four wickets between them with left-arm quick Zaheer Khan taking the other two to fall.
When India bat, Sachin Tendulkar will need one more century to complete a hundred international tons.
But just as defeat could trigger the end of Ponting's reign, a loss would leave the Indian superstar without a world title and, at 38, he is unlikely to play in the 2015 edition. Tendulkar moved to 99 centuries (51 in Tests and 48 in one-day internationals) with a majestic innings of 111 in his side's group match against South Africa.
"He keeps it really simple," said India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. "He doesn't look at the milestones that are coming up for him."
Meanwhile, Pakistan coach Waqar Younis said he is relishing the prospect of playing the last two matches in India to win the World Cup as his team continued its ruthless march.
Pakistan, led from the front by inspirational captain Shahid Afridi, crushed the West Indies by 10 wickets in Dhaka on Wednesday to advance to their first semi-final since 1999.
Waqar said it would be "awesome" if Pakistan was to play India for a place in the final at the Wankhede stadiun in Mumbai on April 2.
"I would love to play India in India," the fast bowling great said. "There is no bigger rivalry in the game than that. We have not played each other in our own country in recent years.
"So it should be very exciting. The two are cricket-loving countries. If it happens it will be awesome."
West Indies coach Ottis Gibson threatened his senior players with the axe after their humiliating defeat.
"We are very very disappointed with our performance," the coach said. "It's a fact that our senior players have not performed. When the going got tough we did not stand up to it."
Star opener Chris Gayle managed just 170 runs in the tournament, Shivnarine Chanderpaul made 114, Ramnaresh Sarwan just 115 and big-hitter Kieron Pollard scored 180.
The third quarter-final will be between South Africa and New Zealand in Dhaka on Friday with Sri Lanka hosting England in Colombo on Saturday. England all-rounder Michael Yardy quit the World Cup on Thursday suffering from depression.
